Das Leben Jesu, S. 127 Testimony Bible student’s life changed joy of leading a soul to Christ, seeing the Spirit transforming / changing someone’s life before your eyes is a great privilege. It’s a great privilege that the Lord has allowed us to participate in. 16

“Our CARE group is made up of people from years old. Our 2 seekers are 76 and 74; they have lots of friends and are very social, but they really look forward to CARE group.”   “The seekers are the 2 front most people (the couple). We meet in their home. They moved into private Bible studies to answer doctrinal questions about 2 months ago and often attend church. I am amazed and thankful that our dear seekers progressed just like Johnny said they would. God is working and we sure appreciated the training and materials from your free resources.” we all love CARE group.  I overheard a seeker tell a new guests, "I hope CARE group meets every Tues until Jesus comes!" April 20, from Leslie, Tennessee, USA

Scenario 1  seekers cultivated from CG Scenario 2  sometimes the Lord just bring people into the meeting without cultivation Received search videos from media centre monthly Drug, party, clubbing lifestyle Holy spirit had prepared her  immediately surrounded her  gave her a CG  1 to 1  baptized  bible worker serving the Lord CG is not its own independent ministry that run on its own. It must lead towards something and must be use to follow up. 30

32 Profil eines effektiven Hauskreisleiters
SCHLÜSSEL: Ein Herz für Menschen Weiß, warum wir STA sind Geistliche gefestigt Beziehungsorientiert und authentisch Nicht nur funktional Kann organisieren CG Koordinator Gast Leiter Gast Gast-geber Have a burden for people e.g. Vanti – naturally would like to make friends Knowledge of SDA message and clearly know why we are SDA; with present truth message to the world; 3 Angels messages Good to have 2nd Gen and train them; see how Paul trained Timothy? E.g Melissa Butcher – come for training and how to; started 2 others in her church; 2 baptism (3) Spiritual grounded and have an experience with God; not head knowledge people only – discount a lot of people; good teachers in CG but not good leaders; Bible based; clear principles not ridding on the edge of truth. Values SOP counsel. Illustrate: JW – knowledge but little caring (4) Relational and friendly and authentic .. People do not like fake people; seekers do not like to be a project or target Illustrate: GHK – authentic and sharing Leaders set the tone in sharing time; if they do not share deep and meaning the group will never do so. If the leaders open up the others will also. share about third party (weather, rain, sun) Share about others Share about family Share about themselves If the sharing is poor people will not find meaning; leaders play a key role here. Church leaders – start small; do not try to start with a full-on revamp and introduce small groups; it will not work. Start small … e.g Howard in Taipei … new church plant. Do not think you need to wait for the leaders to ripe … see their potential in Christ not who they are now. Be ready to coach and catch them when they fall. 39
