9 Ein Projekt des Technischen Jugendfreizeit- und Bildungsvereins (tjfbv) e.V. www.barrierefrei- kommunizieren.de The challenge was to develop courses and an e-learning platform which were both 1. accessible –no tables for the layout –alternative text for the pictures –easy to read –clearly structured layout –No add-on programmes like Flash or JavaScript 2. interactive and interesting –good and accessible social software –a varied and meaningful presentation of the learning content –promotion of an active and independent learning

Three days block instruction: Introduction of the platform and courses. 2. From time to time meetings in the classroom: to discuss the working results and problems, to stay in contact
