DAS HABE ICH GESTERN GEMACHT! I DID HAVE DONE THAT YESTERDAY! Das Perfekt-Präsens
2
Was ist Perfekt Präsens? Perfekt Präsens is the progressive past. It is the version of past tense that in English sounds like “I have done that.” or “I have eaten shark meat.” It uses two verbs – Haben or Sein AND another verb in its past tense form. It’s used almost exclusively when speaking about the past. Exceptions are “haben” and “sein” Instead of ich habe eine Katze gehabt – ich hatte eine Katze. Instead of Ich bin bei Marko gewesen – ich war bei Marko.
