Variety is the spice of life! In your controlled assessment you need to be able to give opinions about almost everything you write about. So…….. be prepared be able to use a range of opinions. DONT ALWAYS USE THE SAME PHRASE
Easy ways to give opinions 1.Use ist/sind/war/waren e.g. Das Wetter ist super Das Hotel war fantastisch 2. Use Ich finde (I find)/ich fand (I found) e.g. Ich finde meinen Bruder lustig Ich fand die Stadt sehr schön
Slightly harder ways to give opinions 1.Use …hat mit gut gefallen ( I liked…) e.g. Das Essen hat mir gut gefallen 2. Use Meiner Meinung nach (In my opinion) e.g. Meiner Meinung nach war der Urlaub toll
Very hard ways to give opinions (because they use conjunctions) 1.Use Ich glaube/denke/finde, dass…. ( I think/find that…) e.g. Ich glaube, dass Berlin eine tolle, lebendige Stadt ist/war 2. Use Ich bin der Meinung, dass… (I am of the opinion that…) e.g. Ich bin der Meinung, dass es viel zu tun gibt/gab
