The present tense What is our present tense in English? Give some examples! In English, we have three present tenses!! For example, for the verb “to come”, we say I come I am coming I do come But in German, they only have one present tense which covers all of our present tenses in English. For example, Ich komme, from the verb “kommen – to come” means I am coming = Ich komme
