Es + [hour] + Uhr + [minutes] 1.00 Es ist ein Uhr. Es ist eins.
2.00 Es ist zwei Uhr. Es ist zwei.
12.00 Es ist zwölf Uhr. Es ist Mittag. Es ist Mitternacht.
Use vor and nach to indicate minutes before and after the hour. Use Viertel vor for quarter to Use Viertel nach for quarter past
2.45 Es ist Viertel vor drei. Es ist zwei Uhr fünfundvierzig.
2.15 Es ist Viertel nach zwei. Es ist zwei Uhr fünfzehn.
Use halb to mean half an hour before. Note that it is not equivalent to the English phrase half past.
2.30 Es ist halb drei. Es ist zwei Uhr dreißig.
12 hour clock or 24 hour clock Use the 24-hour clock when talking about train schedules, movie listings, and official timetables Uhr = zwanzig Uhr dreißig (8:30 p.m.) Uhr = achzehn Uhr fünfundvierzig (6:45 p.m.)

Note that an ordinal number is indicated by putting a period after the number. To specify the day on which an event or activity takes place use am before the date, and add –n to the ordinal number
