Enterprise Learning: Supporting Business Needs In today‘s global markets a company’s survival depends on the knowledge and competencies of its employees. Globalization Shorter time-to-market Increased complexity of employee tasks Retaining key talent Reducing operating costs Global access to expert knowledge to drive consistency Enabling faster delivery of knowledge Delivery of just-in-time, modular training Focus on life-long learning and individual professional development Reduce travel and costs related to training and administration Globalization trends require global access to expert knowledge Fast delivery of knowledge is crucial for shorter time-to-market due to increased competition Due to increased mobility and decentralization learning must be available anytime and anywhere Increased complexity of employee tasks require efficient, modular training Growing focus on life-long-learning and individual professional development Reduce costs related to learning for travel, training and administration

Solution Introduction Enterprise Learning in mySAP ERP HCM. . . Is a comprehensive solution with all components seamlessly integrated Integrates all learning methods (“blended learning”) Provides a personalized learning offering based on employee needs Provides offline learning and synchronization Enables learning objectives and knowledge level to determine the content and scope of the course Provides an authoring environment compliant with internationally recognized WBT standards for creating reusable content, tests and structures Is a complete solution (learner portal, LMS, LCMS, and authoring environment) offered by one vendor The SAP Learning Solution is fully integrated into the mySAP Business Suite. We offer inegration into mySAP Financials for Cost Accounting, into mySAP Materials Management to order print materials for ILT and especially into mySAP HR for planning trainings, imparting qualifications, assigning courses as mandatory for employees depending on their role in the company. Besides this, we are integrated with SAP Portals for Content Management, Collaboration and Knowledge Management functionalities. With purchasing the SAP Learning Solution, our customers get access to all the mentioned functionality that is used to cover the whole business process behind learning. Due to this seemless integration, we assume that our customers run our solution with a lower Total Cost of Ownership, compared to other vendors that do not offer such a complete portfolio but must integrate instead. We are able to offer the different delivery methods for learning – WBTs, Virtual Classrooms, ILT – in our solution and to combine them in one curriculum. Makes training more effective:a) WBT b) ILT We offer the learner a personalized learning environment. Via our learning portal the learner gets a personalized learning offer depending on qualifications, on requirementscoming from a job or position, on tasks or on belonging to a certain organizatonal unit etc; raises acceptance of the solution and increases the motivation to learn, as the learning offer is directly related to my daily work, my job in the company Applies to WBTs: Further individualization is possible through different leaning strategies a learner can choose from. For example -> manager: overview; sales representative:detail; unique to our solution; better reuse: content created once, but different strategies; cost reduction; higher acceptance Applies to WBT: We can combine single learning objects with learning objectives; if a learner already has a learning objective stored in his account – understanding mySAP.com, for example, all objects that offer the same learning objective can be skipped; higher acceptance; no repetitions Authoring environment that allows instructional designer to develop and structure content, also to apply the already mentioned learning strategies. SCORM-compliance! ; reuse of content, possibility to purchase content from diff. vendors

Value Proposition Single Vendor Offering Personalization Complete solution with building blocks of one vendor, SAP, with over a decade of experience providing software solutions to support learning processes Simplifies communication, upgrades, interfaces (TCO) Personalization Personalized learning offer based on job, tasks, qualifications… Adaptive and explorative learning through individual learning strategies Strong analytical and reporting capabilities BI queries and analytical applications for decisions makers Integrated collaboration scenarios Synchronous and asynchronous collaboration included and integrated Provide Blended Learning by managing and distributing all delivery methods (WBTs, Classroom, Virtual Classrooms, Curriculas…) Compliance 21CFR Part 11 Compliance (FDA) Section 508 Compliance (Accessibility)

The offering is blended, that is, classroom training courses and e-learning courses can both be offered. The SAP Learning Solution uses existing objects from Training and Event Management that are used to administer classroom training courses. The SAP Learning Solution offers enhanced functionality; training administrators can now also create e-learning and curricula. New objects and infotypes have been developed for this purpose in the SAP Learning Solution. The slide shows some of the tasks that training administrators carry out in their day-to-day work.
