Perfect Tense Used to express an action that took place in the past Uses the auxiliary verbs haben and sein Sein is used when the basic verb is a going verb - Ex: Ich bin die Lade gegangen. Haben is used for all other perfect tense. - Ex: Ich habe die Banane gegessen.
