Daiichi Kigenso Kagakukogyo Co. ”The company will construct a new factory for production of fine ceramics and zirconium compounds for SOFC in an industrial complex (Technoport Fukui) in Fukui City. The investment amounts to 4 billion yen, and the production ability will be about 2,500 ton. The production will be started in fall of 2007. The company has production technology of SOFC electrolyte materials, such as YSZ and ScSZ, and the company has intention to expand its business to large fields including electrodes. “
