1 Y9 German Exam (1 hour) The Y9 Exam will assess: your knowledge and recall of vocabulary Your translation skills & ability to apply grammar Your reading comprehension skills Your ability to write at varying lengths in German The Y9 Exam will include the following sections: Part 1 (15 minutes) Section 1: Vocabulary (10 marks) Section 2: Translation (10 marks) (Ger-Eng & Eng – Ger) & grammar (10 marks) Part 2 (45 minutes) Section 3: Reading comprehensions Section 4: Written compositions
