2 When expressing doubt, you might say: Ich weiß nicht, ob wir die Reise schon gebucht haben. Ich bezweifle, dass es dort einen Golfplatz gibt. Ich bin nicht sicher, dass wir dort surfen können.

3 Practice Express doubt about the following opinion: Wegen Laker Time oder EdVisory verlieren Schüler ungefähr 32 Stunden Klassenzeit in einem Jahr. Das heißt 4 Stunden pro Klasse. Schüler sollen die meiste Hilfe von ihren Lehrern vor oder nach der Schule bekommen anstatt während Laker Time oder EdVisory. Dann können wir in der Klasse mehr Zeit bekommen um mehr lernen.

4 Application Write 2 sentences expressing possible doubt that someone else might have when they hear your opinion about your topic.

5 When expressing conviction, you might say: Du kannst mir glauben, dass es dort einen Golfplatz gibt. Ich bin sicher, dass wir dort surfen können.

6 When expressing resignation, you might say: Da kann man nichts machen. Das ist leider so.

7 Application II Next to each sentence, write your response. Show conviction or resignation. Remember the statements of approval or disapproval. Also remember how to express agreement emphatically and with reservation.
