Useable on different mobile devices Useable with different back-end interfaces Customizable (front-end, functionality, back-end) and generic Development of a first prototype covering two or three use-cases Static content Dynamic content Field test to gain feedback and (im)prove the concept Benefits Development of a proved, standardized, and easy customizable concept. Deployable solution for different educational institutes Easy extension and adaption of use-cases, sustainable usage Target group: students and university staff

Q4 2010 Done Preparation for an Atizo idea contest: Idea contest for innovative application of mobile devices. Q4 2010 Done International state-of-practice report: Survey on the intern. state-of-practice concerning uni. apps. Q1 2011 Done AAA/SWITCH Info-Day 2011: Project presentation at the AAA/SWITCH Info-Day 2011. Q1 2011 In progress Analysis of demand: Survey on the demand for different uses cases for an uni app. Q1 2011 In progress Technology assessment: Assessment of different technologies for app implementation. Q1 2011 Open Scope of functionality and interface definition of the prototype: Workshop together with the IT department of the university.
