11 There are actually two ways of using the superlative: The first, we have already learnt: e.g Bath ist die schönste Stadt Bath is the prettiest town. However, if you want want to say - My town is the prettiest (no noun), it is formed slightly differently. You add (e)sten to the adjective and put am in front of it! e.g Meine Stadt ist am schönsten.
