3 Beam Parameters Energy 20 MeV (40 MeV in 2005) Currents up to 1 mA
Micro beam structure: Standard mode: <10 ps bunches in 77 ns intervals (13 MHz) Intervals may be digitally sparsified (2,4,…256) or shortened up to 260 MHz (factor of 20) Macro beam structure smallest repetition rate 38 ms No multi user mode possible

4 Beam Parameters scattering chamber Ideal scenario: direct use of very low intensity primary electron beam (  103 e- /s) However: beam diagnostics currently limits controllable beam current to  1 mA ( ie  1013 e- /s)  scattering experiment 10 nA up to 100 nA on thin target foil or diamond. Detect scattered e- to study background and intensities. Simulations with FLUKA and Geant4
