6 Word order Verbs ALWAYS GO in the SECOND position
What is the one exception to this rule? Sentences do not always begin with the subject Sometimes another expression, such as an expression of time—nach der Schule, im Sommer—is the first element of a sentence. Where does the verb go in these cases? Finish this sentence: Nach der Schule,….. TIME—VERB—SUBJECT. TVS.

7 Verbs with stems ending in d,t,n
Finden and other verbs with stems ending in d,t,n do not follow the regular pattern in the du and er/sie form For these verbs, you add –est to the du-form (du findest) and –et to the er/sie and ihr forms– (er/sie findet, ihr findet). How would you conjugate zeichnen? Du– zeichnest er/sie zeichnet ihr zeichnet
