Today the word is getting out that Lithuania is no longer a secret to the world: we have made a great leap forward in just over a decade of independence. Lithuania is now at an advanced stage of transformation. Our development has been fast. Earlier this year the investment bank Goldman Sachs in its report called it the “Ballistic Baltic” – Lithuania has become a rising star and a launching pad to profitable growth.

EUR, zum ) Major countries investors in Lithuania are Denmark (USD 571 million or 18.5% of total FDI), Sweden (USD 518 million or 16.8% of total FDI), Estonia (USD 319 million or 10.3% - a lot of Scandinavian investment comes to Lithuania via Estonia), Germany (USD 294 million or 9.5%) and the USA is the fifth largest foreign investor in Lithuania with USD 250 million FDI or 8.1 % of total investment.
